A couple of weeks ago my father gave me an old boat that he's owned for quite a number of years that he's been hoping to fix up. Circumstances have prevented this project from proceeding, so he has passed the project to me having noticed we share a knack for working with our hands.

Its an old Acecraft 162. Probably from around the late 70s I'm told. This site will hopefully document the restoration of this apparently very popular vessel to its former glory. I'll attempt to add videos and photos as the project progresses and when I do remember I'll try to keep track of who assisted and what was required to get to the final stages of the project. Its as much a record of the work performed as it is a way for me to keep track of what has been done, what needs to be done and how to do it.
